Dr. Raven Evans

Dr. Raven Evans is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Georgia with over 5 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, veterans, college students, and minorities. She completed her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from the Florida School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University. Some areas of her expertise include depression, anxiety, substance abuse, relationships and boundaries, grief, and stress management. She also offers psychological assessments for diagnostic clarification. Dr. Evans is passionate about working with people of color, women, and individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+. For these specific groups of people, Dr. Evans finds value in treating mental health issues brought on by societal oppression, racism/racial trauma, poor self-esteem/self-worth, and body image concerns.  

Dr. Evans utilizes a variety of approaches to therapy including person-centered, strength-based, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and solution-focused interventions. Most importantly, she aims to provide an environment that fosters a safe space to explore emotions and vulnerabilities without judgment, fear, or stigma. She understands the significance of meeting your unique needs and increasing her awareness of your individuality.
