Dr. Raven Evans
Dr. Raven Evans is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Georgia with over 5 years of experience working with adults, children/adolescents, and college students. She completed her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from the Florida School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University. Some areas of her expertise include depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships and boundaries, life transitions and stress management.
Dr. Evans also offers comprehensive psychological assessments for diagnostic clarification that aids in treatment planning/interventions. Her other assessment experience includes competence to stand trial evaluations, compensation and pension evaluations for Veterans, disability evaluations for SSDI, fitness for duty evaluations, and psychoeducational evaluations for children and adolescents.
Dr. Evans is passionate about working with women, couple’s, and minority groups (e.g., individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+, people of color, etc). Dr. Evans finds value in treating mental health issues influenced by trauma, societal oppression, racism/racial trauma, poor self-esteem/self-worth, and impaired work/life balance.
Dr. Evans utilizes a variety of approaches to therapy including person-centered, strength-based, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-based interventions. Most importantly, she aims to provide an environment that fosters a safe space to explore emotions and vulnerabilities without judgment, fear, or stigma. She understands the significance of meeting your unique needs and increasing her awareness of your individuality.
